Ursula Le Guin’s The Other Wind arrived in the post today. After reading the Earthsea Quartet and discovering it was one of the best and most thought provoking books I had ever read I am really forward to starting it.

On the back cover Neil Gaiman says “I adored The Other Wind. Real mythmaking, done by a master of the craft … The magic of Earthsea remains as potent, as wise and as necessary as anyone could dream.”

A review will follow shortly and I’d expect it to take up a high position in the top 100 fantasy books. The Earthsea Quartet is currently placed at #6.
