Baltimore, USA - Maps drawn by the hand of JRR Tolkien himself will be going on exhibition at The Walters Art Museum in Baltimore between the 16th of March and the 8th of June 2008.

Two maps of Tolkien’s that will be featured are Thror’s Map from The Hobbit and the topographical view of Minis Tirith featured in the third book of the Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King.

The exhibition is called Maps: Finding Our Place in the World and will feature over 100 of the world’s greatest maps, also including works by Leonardo da Vinci and Abraham Lincoln.
