George Udenkwo’s stunning debut: Golgotha Falls

Golgotha Falls George Udenkwo lists his influences as Philip K Dick, Jeff Noon, Chinua Achebe and Michael Ondaatje amongst various others. He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and has just completed the second book in the Golgotha Falls series. Golgotha Falls is a stunning debut, Udenkwo’s intelligence and passion come through clearly in his work – he is also an author of frightening imagination. The book made me use my brain and gave me the inclination to further research the figures of mythology mentioned in the tales. I would happily recommend George Udenkwo and Golgotha Falls to readers who enjoy a fine mixture of science and fantasy in their books. Golgotha Falls is a stunning debut from an author of exceptional imagination.

As George himself says “In the Golgotha Falls series I suggest that technology will not bring universal meaning, but rather fragment our understanding of reality further. Through genetic engineering and quantum science we summon our most virulent nightmares, not wittingly, but disguised as solutions and labour-saving marvels. In the end humanity winds up with a Swiss cheese reality that bears closer resemblance to Alice in Wonderland than the utopian world we envisage today.”

Twilight movie trailer

TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change.
