The Twilight Saga: Eclipse release date announced
Summit Entertainment have announced the release date for the third installment of the Twilight saga, Eclipse – June 30, 2010, around seven months after New Moon hits the US theatres.
No director has of yet been attached to the project but it is doubtful that Chris Weitz will helm Eclipse as he will be in post-production on the first Twilight sequel.
Eclipse will be based on the third book in Stephenie Meyer’s vampire drama saga.

It’s released in the UK on the 30th of June. I’ve been trawling the net today and everywhere, even trailers, say the 30th of June. I’m not sure about America, I think it’s a couple of weeks b4 us… usually is!!

Eclipse comes out on the 30th because at the end off the New Moon credits it says Eclipse June 30th 2010.

Well I heard it was the 9th of July too but I just ordered my tickets from Cineworld and the earliest date they have is the 3rd of July. I’m totally confused…

It says on the trailers 30th June, but in all the cinemas it says 9th July, although some are doing a midnight preview on 2nd July – Already got my ticket, can’t wait…!
