I am sad to hear that Eddings has passed away. His Belgariad series and the companion books for Belgarath and Polgara are some of my favorite books ever. They are my old stand by’s. I read and reread them numerous times. Pawn of Prophecy introduced me to the fantasy genre, and I have loved it ever since. A few of the others that I read over and over again are the Harry Potter books and the Twilight series books. It takes a lot for me to want to reread a book once I’ve already read it, almost a special magic, and this series defniitely had it. I know my two older sisters feel the same way, as they also keep this series close by at home and even when they travel. I am grateful to Mr. Eddings for the contribution he made to writing. It made a great impact in my life. His books will always be classics to me.
