Take a look at the wonderful new Wyrmeweald trailer

In a world where dragons and humans live alike, a few brave souls make the dangerous journey across the treacherous plains, towards the great highstacks of the dragons.

The Wyrmeweald.

All of them want the same thing. Returners wealth. There are riches to be found beyond your wildest dreams If you can stay alive.

Micah is one such soul, who seeks to make his fortune. He is young and alone, and must find his way, and judge who to trust. But can he still survive, when he falls in love with the wild girl who tried to kill him?

The Wyrmeweald trilogy, launching this month, is set in a Wild West world where dragon-like beasts roam supreme and pioneering fortune-hunters clash with brutal bandits. It is a grand-scale adventure; a frontier fantasy, a dangerous romance, a tale of savage revenge – and ultimate heroism.

Fantasy Book Review were lucky enough to receive an advance review copy and we loved it:

Returner’s Wealth marks the beginning of what appears to be another excellent series from two very talented men. The illustrations have been played down but are still as show stopping and worth looking forward to as always, helping to accompany the magnificent story itself. The themes explored are the dangers of enjoying killing, the empty feeling left after revenge has been exacted, the rapaciousness and wanton destruction and waste of humankind and love that is not always returned. The characters stories interweave beautifully and at no time is there a lull in the narrative. Wyrmeweald: Returner’s Wealth is fantastic – absorbing, stirring and intelligently written  – everything you could possibly want from a fantasy book. Fantasy Book Review could not recommend it more highly.
