Winnie-the-Pooh to feature in a collection of 10 special stamps
The Royal Mail has launched a new collection of 10 special stamps featuring Winnie-the-Pooh and friends (Christopher Robin, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, Roo, Owl and Tigger).

The honey-loving fictional bear, created by AA Milne for his son Christopher Robin in 1926, are illustrated in black and white line drawings.
“At nearly 90 years old Winnie-the-Pooh is looking incredibly good for his age, thanks to the imaginative writing of AA Milne and the timeless illustrations of EH Shepard. We’re delighted that through this wonderful collection we will bring a new adventure for Winnie the Pooh and his friends as they travel on letters to millions of homes across the UK and beyond,” commented Philip Parker, of the Royal Mail. “We know that Winnie the Pooh is a stamp issue that will rekindle many fond memories for people of all ages. We are delighted that we could use EH Shepard’s original illustrations to bring Pooh and his friends to life on millions of stamps,” added Melanie Corfield, also of the Royal Mail. (BBC)
Disney is releasing a new full length animated feature film with the original storyline in April next year.
