A Dance With Dragons Gets a Release Date!!!

12 July 2011… Its all going to happen on a Tuesday…

George R. R. Martin has promised that the end is in sight and that 12 July 11 is is firm date, while all those other dates in the past were soft dates based on wishful thinking. He was even confident enough to put a countdown timer on his website:

Not long to go before we find out if Jon Snow can defend the Seven Kingdoms from the threat in the north, if the Starks can reclaim Winterfell, and if Daenerys will finally make a play for Westeros
