News from Hollywood has revealed that the Landover series written by Terry Brooks has been optioned for a movie deal. Optioning doesn’t always lead to a movie – as many authors will be able to tell you – but it’s an exciting trend nonetheless, following after Hollywood picking up Boneshaker by Cherie Priest and Otherland by Tad Williams.

Well would you look at that. 2012 has arrived, and is already starting to fly by. Resolutions have already fallen by the wayside, but the holiday fat is beginning to disappear (hopefully). Work is starting back, school as well, and the days are getting shorter or longer, depending on where you live.
