Charmed Season 9 Volume 3 by Paul Ruditis

The years have passed quickly for The Charmed Ones since they learned of their magical heritage. In only one decade they have experienced so much love and loss, joy and sorrow, failure and success. But time marches on and new challenges will be met as Phoebe is haunted by her past, Piper must deal with the present, and Paige is forced to cope with the future. But none of those events will prepare them to face the truth behind a family secret that could change everything for the Warren line!

With this, the next volume of Charmed. Piper, Phoebe and Paige have to deal with the discovery of a long lost sister and the return of Cole, who although long dead, is still having an effect on their lives.

As the main focus of Charmed has been of coming to terms with their magical heritage whilst trying to lead normal lives, the sisters are finally feeling comfortable with combining their lives with their magic but they also need to decide whether their children should have to deal with the magic they possess at a young age or whether their powers should be bound until they are better able to deal with the magic they possess.

Coop also finds that juggling his Cupid responsibilities with his family is harder than it seems now that he has a family of his own and we gain some background on cupids and where they come from.

So with the good comes the bad and the sisters still have to deal with the long standing issue of Rennek the dangerous dark lighter, whose plans have still not fully been revealed. Will the Charmed ones be able to find face whatever he is going to throw at them?

Be prepared for the best volume so far in the Charmed graphic novel series. So far they have met the Witch that started it all and saved the Elders. This series continues to go from strength to strength with strong storylines and unbelievable twists.

9/10 The best volume so far in the Charmed graphic novel series.
